9 Months

Maddie turned 9 months old on May 6. So today we headed over to her doctor's office for a check up and immunization shot. Poor pumpkin! :o( She is now 28 inches long, which is between the 50th and 75th percentile. Her head circumference is 18 1/4 inches, which is in the 95th percentile. That cracks us up! Tim and I both have huge heads so it is inevitable that Maddie would have one too. :o) Her weight was only 16 pounds and 14 ounces, which is in the 10th percentile. :o( She only gained about half a pound since her 6 month check up. The nurse practioner said that it is probably because Maddie is so active now and burning more calories. She said that since she is not having any other problems and is healthy, that it isn't that big of a concern. We have an appointment scheduled in 6 weeks to just check on her weight so have some time to fatten her up a bit. :o)
